University Admission

Just decided on my university course.

I was deciding between NUS Science and NTU Chem Eng. After considerations, I decided on NUS Science. Though some data shows that NTU Chem Eng graduates might have a higher pay and better facilities, but it seems like the course includes a large part of Physics which I am seemingly weak in. I will try for NUS Science for the time being, though no direct honours, and it will be a largely english-oriented environment with a competitive community, I would like to take up this challenge.

So this course I am taking up might have a slightly lower starting point, more dificulties in finding a job, more competitive, but I am still decided on it:

NUS SCIENCE

Rainbow

These were taken quite a few months back before I was enlisted. After fellowship activity one saturday, we were gathering for our dinner at the coffee shop. I noticed several people standing in the open, holding up with any camera which they could find, be it a digital one or camera phone. Something in the sky must have such a charisma mustering people from shops, ensnaring them in a temporaily urge for photography. Therefore, I walked to the open and was exhilarated to find myself in view of a majestic rainbow. ( fine, it might not be as nice as those overseas but in Singapore, it was a rare sight to me.)

Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting convenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.
Genesis 9 : 16

God stills remember the promises He made and the convenant He established. His promises never fails. His words never fails. Therefore, we can seek Him when people fails you. God never fails you, it is ourselves that fails Him.

We want what we want but we don't know what we really need. Without perfect knowledge, we cannot justify if what we want are really the best for us. Now who does not want the best for themselves when everyone can have the best for themselves? God remember His promises and surely He remember us. He Provides!

Army

In the army now, have less time to blog.

Going to field camp next week, some of my section mates are already fearful of the dirty environment. Well, I hope everything will went well. But whether it is good or bad, I know that my Lord will be with me.

Just went for shooting this week. Thank God for the peace in the heart which is very important.

There might not be enough time to do daily devotions during army due to the tight schedule. However, I tried to wake up early to do so. But you will have ample chance to experience God's grace, which is often given to us but we are ignorant, or did not notice it.
