Losing touch with blogging

so long never blog already. so long so long. It would be a long long year of trainings. And I would be so busy that I don't blog...or maybe I am mousehunting in Facebook. haha

Why try your best?

A month ago, this question pondered me while I was being asked by a superior.

"Why do you try your best?" . He assumed that our reason for trying our best in examinations like the A Levels is because of pride and "face".

However, I beg to differ for my case. I am trying my best because it is my responsibility and thanksgiving. Everything I have is a grace from God and though I cannot repay His grace, what I can do is to use the grace to do things for the Lord, according to his commandments. Furthermore, in the Book of Colossians, it says

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will recieve an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Colossians 3 : 23 - 24

I try my best....to glorify the name of the Lord.

Long time never blog

It's been such a long time since I last blogged. Well, it's partially because of my hectic timetable, and also that blogger is lagging for my com ( can't upload photos)

However, I will try to blog now and then...

Greive and Pain, but Does Not Suffer

My wai po just passed away last Sunday.

It is a hard lesson by the Lord. I should have shared the gospel with her earlier. All the while, I have been learning Hokkein just to speak with her. But it all might seems a bit too late. I tried to share with her by the hospital bed. She was already in a daze and seems semi-conscious by then. I did not know whether she accepted Christ in the end but have to lift everything to the Lord.

She passed on on Sunday. The taxi drove the wrong way and I didn't manage to make it. Maybe it's God lesson for me.

These few days, thanks to my brothers and sisters in Christ who have visited the wake and send their regards.

These few days, I have also saw that there are many lost souls waiting for the gospel.

In all, I still thank God for His Consoles! Pray for the gospel to spread!

Hard to maintain?

These few weeks were really busy weeks for me. Furthermore, many of my weekends were burnt due to trainings. Then, there was this thought of me to close down the blog as it is really difficult and time consuming to maintain a blog. However, I finally decided not to comply to my initial plan as my efforts in the past will go down to drain.

Many a times, we like to start things because it is fresh. However, time will test our patience. While it may be easy to start, it is definetely a chore to maintain the progress. Many people gave up on the maintenance part as they feel that they are tired. Similarly, some of us might not be able to persevere after accepting Christ. Being a Christian is not easy. And many a times, there might be conflicts with certain ideologies that the world belived in. Some says they are tired of being a Christian. It may be easy to accept Christ, just believe...but it might be hard to live out a Christian life in this world. However, we should believe that God will gives us the strength to persevere through all difficulties. So don't give up easily. For you can always confide your problems to the Lord. He will bring you through.

Today is Singapore's National Day. Thank God for blessing the country through another year.

Birthday Thanks 2009

Thanks to God. Really give thanks to the Lord for being with me and blessed me greatly throughout my 19 years on Earth. I am just too unworthy for His grace, yet Jesus died on the cross for me.

Thanks also to my Parents for bringing me up. Thank you to my daddy for a bag, my mom for a pair of shoes this birthday. I like them, especially when they are cheap yet nice. I don't really like expensive stuff, but i prefer practical tools. Thank you my sis, Jia Ying, for the card (copy me right?), and it is a creative one.
