Every Shirt Tells A Story 2

Background: Chinese Language Society

Memories: This was designed by WG. It's a collar T woosh! I was an exco in CLS, now it is renamed CCS, Chinese Cultural Society which I always called it during my time. 4 years in CLS was indeed a learning and memorable time. NCC was full of stress, but CLS was a place for rest. I have my friends there, every year we make new friends. And had a gathering at Ms Tay house every Christmas. I first know Huang Peng in CLS too. And when I was Sec 2...it was almost the best time...because a lot of us lived in the West, we took 190 together. And hahahaa, we came out with lame jokes and do lame things. But I really thanks the three angel teachers, they have put in lots of effort. I thank them for their guidance. Maybe some day, we should have a CLS song. Haha.

Background: PSLTC

Memories: I was in Bruder. It was my first leadership camp. And I got to know some seniors and sang some great songs. It retaught me the Lasallian Values. And I first get into contact with something called affirmation slips, affirming your friends. I still hold these memories with me, kept safely in a corner of my room.

Background: OBS
Memories: I am in the Nila Utama Watch. Round Island Kayaking was just a great idea. And there were other games as well. And during this camp, I was named Armed and Ready by Louis who saw my cap with the word: Armed and Ready. It was sort of great experience, when enermies become friends. And I had to washed the haversack thoroughly when ants which could bit through plastic bags appear. There was one night I did not bath. While we were camping by the seaside one night, we could not sleep due to the loud music from the Kelong close by. Only one song throughout....Crazy Frog. Maybe fishes hear these songs to sleep or is it because it act like a lighthouse? Except it is musichouse?

Background: LLTC 2005

Memories: This is a 4 day 3 night course. I had fun with dragonboating and high elements. But the main lesson learn was to walk the talk, be the difference to others. I also learn about the 7 habits of highly effective teens by Steven Covey which I found it useful in my term in the NCC and CLS. There is one fast food session. I made an accurate guess, it is not fast food like Macs or KFC, it is a bun and we fast. This is to show empathy with the poor. I remembered one coordinator named Kenny. He led my example, is resourceful and taught me many things. Like empathy rather than sympathy should be used. Serve to Lead and Lead to Serve.

Background: SJI China Immersion Trip 2005
Memories: It's my first time to China. Thus I decided to buy a shirt for souveneir. I enjoyed the trip which forged bonds, enriching my knowledge of the Chinese culture, allowed me to relaxed and learn more about life. I also remembered Godwin shit in my room and then the toilet bowl got stuck...and then we mixed all the leftover food together and decide who to eat it with a game. Visited places like the Great Wall, the Forbidden City where Mr Heng corrected me a lot of Chinese History. And the immersion with the local school, where we met those who came to Singapore last time. We visited some entrepreneurs...immersing into Chinese Economy. But some sharings from the entrepreneurs really interest me in starting a business at that time.
